Blackjack Edge (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) is an iOS training app for blackjack basic strategy. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Practice and play statistics — hands played, accuracy, streaks, and related training data stored locally on your device (SwiftData). Core practice does not require an account.
- Account information (optional) — if you sign in (e.g., Apple or Google), we receive identifiers provided by the authentication provider to sync entitlements and server-side features.
- Feedback — if you submit in-app feedback (including optional screenshots), we receive the message, category, and associated account identifier when signed in.
- Purchase status — subscription and promo entitlement state via Apple StoreKit and our backend verification when applicable.
- Diagnostics — standard app and Firebase service logs needed to operate cloud features (auth, referrals, feedback submission).
How we use information
- Provide and improve training features, stats, and premium entitlements.
- Respond to feedback and support requests.
- Operate referral and promotional programs when you choose to use them.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse of cloud endpoints.
What we do not do
- We do not operate real-money gambling or process wagers.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
The app may use Firebase (authentication, cloud functions), Apple Sign In, Google Sign In (if enabled), StoreKit, and advertising SDKs on the free tier. Those providers process data under their own policies.
Data retention and deletion
You can clear local session data from in-app settings. Account-linked server data may be retained as needed to provide the service; contact us via in-app feedback to request deletion where applicable.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
